Position Summary :

  • We require Manager – Sales who will be responsible for leading our Sales Team, Execution of Sales, Handling order inflows, scheduling for production plan, responsible for timely deliveries, will be key account manager for sales portfolio. Experience in sales coordination or order management, preferably in manufacturing or machine shops.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and focuses on converting demand into a sale.
  • Directly manage, train and drive the sales team to meet sales targets. Tracks sales performance and implements strategies to improve it and sets sales goals and forecasts revenue.
  • Will be responsible for Sales revenue, Conversion rate, Sales Delivery Adherence as per purchase orders and schedules.
  • Responsible for achievement of monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets according to Annual Business Plan.
  • On time generation and submission of sales invoice Export & Domestic.
  • Receivable monitoring and closely working with accounts receivable, executive and addressing any issues pretraining to receivables
  • Customer Relationship Management :

  • Timely Communication with customers on projects status and schedules on weekly and timely basis.
  • Manage and grow customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Internal Coordination :

  • Coordinating with Marketing Team to track day-to-day sales and facilitating corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Production, PPC, Quality, and Supply chain teams for smooth execution of sales as per Business plan.
  • Work closely with the projects team to ensure new development orders are realized as per ABP
  • Review cost sheets, BOMs, and production plans to ensure accurate pricing and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor order fulfilment, on-time delivery, and quality performance metrics.
  • Giving feedback and insights from sales and order fulfilments to relevant internal teams for continuous improvement
  • Shipment Scheduling based on Customer Requirement, Pre-Shipment and Post Shipment Activities by meeting 100%Customer Requirement.
  • Planning and executing the efficient transportation and storage of goods from factory to the point of consumption .
  • Reporting & Analysis :

  • Prepare weekly / monthly sales reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyse sales trends of customers, products, and segments.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Education - Bachelor’s degree in Administration / Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering (preferred) / or related.
  • MBA in Marketing or Operations (added advantage).
  • Experience
  • 12+ years of sales experience in heavy machining, precision engineering, auto components, casting / forging machining, or related sectors.
  • Hands-on experience dealing with OEM / Tier-1 automotive customers.
  • Excellent Leadership, communication, presentation, interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset to monitor order status against targets and take corrective actions.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-functional teams (marketing, projects, planning, and operations).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales documentation.
  • Knowledge in machining process
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Meeting and Executing Sales Targets as per Marketing Requirement and Business Plan
  • High Customer satisfaction.
