The Cloud Engineering Automation team at S&P Global is at the forefront of technological innovation driving the Cloud Blueprints Program. Responsibilities and Impact :

Develop and maintain cloud blueprints to support migration and modernization initiatives across S&P Global.

Engineer cloud build and deployment patterns to enhance operational efficiency.

Contribute to and maintain Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure ensuring scalability and reliability.

Support and troubleshoot CI / CD pipeline implementations to streamline development processes.

Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and compliance to safeguard cloud operations.

Identify and implement process improvements to optimize cloud resource management.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to the Cloud Blueprints community fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.

Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and champion agile methodologies to enhance team productivity.

What Were Looking For :

Basic Required Qualifications :

7 years of experience in IT systems engineering DevOps and / or Cloud operations.

Strong expertise in AWS and hands-on experience with its services.

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code particularly Terraform.

Experience with CI / CD tools and practices to enhance deployment processes.

Strong understanding of cloud security principles to ensure compliance and safety.

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Azure and / or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to broaden cloud expertise.

Professional cloud certifications to validate technical skills and knowledge.

Experience with inner-source or open-source projects demonstrating collaborative development skills.

Knowledge of container technologies to enhance deployment flexibility and efficiency.

Experience with multiple CI / CD platforms such as GitHub Actions GitLab and Azure DevOps to support diverse development environments.
