Placement Deputy Team Lead
Role Overview :
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Deputy Team Lead - Placements to support and lead end-to-end placement operations, drive client engagement, manage student readiness, and deliver impactful hiring outcomes. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent data handling abilities, and a strategic approach to employer relations and student placement.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Engagement & Onboarding :
- Identify and onboard new hiring partners aligned with the organization's programs (ACCA, CFA, etc.)
- Conduct introductory calls, pitch relevant hiring solutions (FT / Internship / HTD), and close hiring mandates
- Coordinate face-to-face meetings, webinars, and strategic discussions with HRs and stakeholders
Placement Drives & Hiring Execution :
Plan and execute on-campus / off-campus drives, including logistics, coordination, and follow-upsImplement HTD (Hire-Train-Deploy) models with companies where applicableEnsure timely CV shortlisting, interview scheduling, and offer rolloutsStudent Placement & Readiness :
Own the end-to-end placement process for students-from application to final offerTrack placement targets across programs and ensure timely closuresSupport training and pre-placement readiness programs (technical & soft skills)Webinars, Trainings & Seminars :
Organize and drive placement-focused webinars, HR-led seminars, and mock interviewsCollaborate with the learning team to align content with current industry expectationsTrack student participation and engagement Data Management & ReportingMaintain accurate placement data in real time-application, conversion, and hiring statusPrepare weekly / monthly dashboards and share insights with internal stakeholdersStrong command over Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis toolsLeverage AI tools to streamline reports and outreach strategies.Key Requirements :
3-6 years of experience in placements & operationsPrior experience in EdTech, recruitment firms, or campus hiring preferredStrong command over MS Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask, build relationships with corporates, and manage student queriesAnalytical mindset and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills (Good to Have) :
