We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be involved in the design, analysis, testing, and production of mechanical systems and products. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, improve existing designs, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems and components. You will play a key role in bringing product ideas to life, from concept to final production.

Design mechanical components and systems for new products and systems, ensuring they meet specifications, regulatory standards, and customer requirements.

Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).

Perform design calculations, simulations, and stress analysis to ensure mechanical systems function reliably under operational conditions.

Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs before full-scale production.

Oversee the construction of prototypes and perform hands-on testing to validate mechanical designs.

Conduct failure analysis, stress testing, and material testing to evaluate the performance and durability of components.

Iterate on designs based on test results, ensuring continuous improvement in product quality and performance.

Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible for production and cost-effective.

Assist with the selection of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques to optimize product performance.

Review production processes and ensure mechanical systems are produced according to specifications and quality standards.

Identify opportunities for product improvements or cost reductions in both design and manufacturing processes.

Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for production or design-related issues.

Apply Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve mechanical processes and reduce waste.

Work collaboratively with electrical engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design compatibility and seamless integration with other systems.

Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to source materials, components, and tools for production.

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are understood and met throughout the lifecycle.

Maintain thorough documentation of designs, changes, and testing results to ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with industry standards.

Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, CE marking).

Provide support for product certifications, audits, and compliance activities as needed.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring that milestones are met and deliverables are completed on schedule.

Prepare project reports and present updates to senior management on progress, risks, and opportunities.

Handle multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
