Role Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join our DWS Technology organisation as a Service Relationship Owner (SRO) at the VP level, for the principal services that DWS Technology continues to receive from Deutsche Bank TDI. This role is designed for someone who thrives in complex, collaborative environments, and is passionate about driving technology service delivery to success across a global and multifaceted organisation.
- The SRO acts as an empowered partner and proxy for the Head of Core Technology, ensuring strong oversight, effective communication, and seamless review / reporting of technology services, with deficiencies escalated. This individual will engage with internal DWS stakeholders and DB TDI teams, maintaining high standards of organisation, discipline, and follow-through. Ideal candidates bring proven project leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a solid grasp of technology services.

Communication Excellence : Act as a primary point of contact across the DWS Technology organisation, facilitating clear, concise, and compelling communications to drive alignment and action.Stakeholder Engagement : Confidently conduct discussions and negotiations around service deficiencies with TDI partners, especially in areas requiring follow-up, clarification, or issue resolution.Service Oversight : Maintain a deep understanding of the scope, quality, and value of services provided by TDI, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement of the reporting and oversight as well as ensuring services meet DWS needs and compliance with regulatory standards.Governance and Compliance : Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives by soliciting feedback, analysing performance metrics, and championing innovative solutions across the technology landscape.SRO Training & Expertise (Optional) : If applicable, leverage previous SRO training and experience to enhance role effectiveness and contribute to best practice sharing within the organisation.Your skills and experience
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are an advantage, but not essential.Professional Experience : Minimum 6-7 years of experience in technology project management, stakeholder engagement, or service delivery oversight, preferably within large or complex organisations.Communication : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; capable of conveying complex information simply and persuasively to diverse audiences.Project Management : Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary technology projects, with an ability to coordinate disparate teams and resources towards common goals. This should include the ability to design, reviewOrganisation & Discipline : Highly organised, detail-oriented, and disciplined in approach; adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Stakeholder Management : Proven ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and manage expectations with internal and external partners.Service Delivery Understanding : Solid understanding of technology services, vendor management, and operational excellence.SRO Training (Optional) : Previous completion of SRO training and demonstrated understanding of the SRO role is useful but not essential.Desirable Attributes
