Role Summary
The Executive – Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted availability of parts and products through effective coordination with suppliers, procurement, PPC (Production Planning & Control), stores, and quality control (QC). The role includes demand forecasting based on production requirements, supplier lead times, and inventory policies. The position requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to support smooth production operations.
Salary : - 25 to 28K CTC

Key Responsibilities
1. Supply Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate daily with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and raw materials.
- Work closely with Procurement to follow up on purchase orders, delivery schedules, and escalations.
- Collaborate with PPC to understand production requirements, demand forecasts, and changes in schedules.
- Align with Stores / Warehouse for inventory status, stock levels, and material issuance planning.
- Interface with Quality Control (QC) for incoming inspection status and resolution of quality issues affecting supply availability.
- Maintain an updated supply plan and proactively address any potential shortages.
2. Demand Forecasting & Planning
Develop demand forecasts based on PPC inputs, historical consumption, and supplier lead times.Calculate material requirements considering MOQ, safety stock levels, and lead-time variability.Perform regular gap analysis between forecasted demand and current inventory.Prepare and share shortage reports, critical part lists, and planning dashboards.3. Supplier & Inventory Management
Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery adherence, quality, and responsiveness.Optimize inventory through effective planning to avoid stockouts and overstock.Track and update lead times, supply risks, and alternate supplier options.Coordinate with suppliers to manage urgent requirements or expedite requests.4. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory data.Generate weekly / monthly supply planning reports for management.Analyze consumption trends and recommend improvements to planning processes.5. Cross-Functional Communication
Facilitate regular review meetings with PPC, Procurement, Stores, and QC.Communicate supply constraints, risks, and action plans clearly to stakeholders.Ensure timely resolution of supply-related issues affecting production.Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field.1–3 years of experience in supply planning, procurement coordination, materials planning, or similar roles.Experience in manufacturing or engineering industry (preferred).Technical Skills
Strong understanding of supply planning, MRP, and production processes.Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP / MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).Knowledge of lead-time analysis, inventory management, and forecasting techniques.Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong coordination, follow-up, and negotiation abilities.Analytical mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.Skills Required
