Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Team Lead to join our project with a leading global financial client. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong technical and leadership skills to work onsite at the Amex offices in Chennai or Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead a small team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Review code and ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimations.
Work closely with client stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.

Required Skills :

8+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

Prior experience in a Team Lead role is mandatory.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and microservices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Java Certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) is a strong plus.

Willingness to work onsite(Hybrid) from the office in Chennai or Gurgaon (no remote option).

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools.

Exposure to financial services or working with BFSI clients.
