Role : International IT Operations Manager

Position Type : Full-Time Contract (40hrs / week)

Duration : 6 months+

Work Days : Wednesday – Sunday

Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM IST

Location : Hyderabad or Mumbai

We are looking for a Subtitling Specialist to support our Subtitling Operations team for a global streaming platform. The role involves managing subtitle deliveries, tracking incoming files from translators, licensors, and vendors, and ensuring all subtitles meet required specs and style guidelines. You will monitor workflow timelines, resolve ingest or file-naming issues (Polaris), and act as the communication bridge between Content Operations and internal localization teams. Weekend coverage (Wed–Sun) is required.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor subtitle delivery tasks and incoming files (Wed–Sun).
Track materials from translators, licensors, and vendors.
Follow up on delayed or missing subtitle deliveries.
Verify ingest into Polaris; triage technical or file-naming issues.
Ensure subtitles meet formatting, style, and QC standards.
Coordinate with internal subtitling and dubbing teams.

Required Skills :

2–3+ years in subtitling, localization, or media operations.

Strong understanding of subtitle specs and style guides.

Experience with streaming / subtitling workflows.

Familiarity with subtitle or content-handling tools (Polaris or similar).

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Comfortable working Wed–Sun schedule.
