Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) NOC Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our team. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of network and system infrastructure to ensure continuous availability, performance, and stability. The ideal candidate should be flexible to work in a 24 / 7 rotating shift environment (including nights, weekends, and holidays), respond promptly to incidents, and coordinate effectively with technical teams to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor network systems, servers, and applications using tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, or PRTG or equivalent.
- Respond to system alerts, outages, and performance degradation within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, or system issues; escalate incidents when necessary.
- Perform routine health checks, backups, patching, and system maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document incidents, actions taken, and resolutions using ITSM or ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to support continuous operations and incident resolution.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to documentation updates and process improvement.
- Participate in shift handovers, reporting, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Maintain awareness of ongoing issues and proactively identify patterns or recurring incidents.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.2–3 years of hands-on experience in a NOC, IT operations, or infrastructure support role.Requirements
