About the role :

We are partnering with a prestigious global university launching its India campus, and are seeking a strategic leader to head the Student Admissions function. The role is pivotal in shaping admissions strategy, driving student recruitment, and ensuring a seamless and inclusive admissions experience for prospective students across India and beyond.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute a comprehensive admissions strategy aligned with the university’s growth objectives.

Lead and manage the admissions team, ensuring high performance and service excellence.

Oversee the end-to-end admissions process, including application review, selection, and enrollment.

Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to design campaigns that attract high-quality applicants.

Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, and education consultants across India.

Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements.

Analyze admissions data to inform decision-making and improve conversion rates.

Represent the university at national and international education fairs and events.

Qualifications & Experience :

Master’s degree in management, or a related field.

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in student admissions, preferably in premium higher education institutions.

Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving results.

Extensive experience in student recruitment across India , with deep regional insights.

Strong network among school counselors, coaching centers, and digital education platforms.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Experience with CRM and admissions management systems is a plus.

Communication & Presentation : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident public speaker.

Tech Savvy : Familiarity with CRM platforms, admissions software, and digital outreach tools.

Problem Solving : Ability to handle complex challenges and make informed decisions under pressure.

Customer Orientation : Commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for prospective students and families.
