Job description

SRS Business Solutions India is looking for a skilled PostgreSQL Administrator to join our team in Hyderabad. If you have 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration, including strong capabilities in performance tuning and query analysis, we encourage you to apply!

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with performance tuning, query analysis, and PostgreSQL internals.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in PostgreSQL installation, configuration, and upgrade procedures.
  • Proficiency in implementing replication, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL security, authentication, and access control.
  • Familiarity with Linux / Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like pgAdmin, pg_stat_statements, Prometheus + Grafana, etc.

    • Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with cloud-hosted PostgreSQL (AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
