Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced

Design Engineer Trainer

to deliver comprehensive training programs in

product design and development . The trainer will be responsible for upskilling professionals in the areas of

CAD / CAE tools, prototyping, design verification / validation, design control documentation, cost optimization, and compliance with industry standards

across

automotive, electrical, medical devices, and multi-industries .

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver training modules on the

product design lifecycle , from concept to production.

Provide hands-on training on

CAD / CAE software

(e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, ANSYS).

Train participants in

prototyping techniques

(3D printing, rapid prototyping, mockups).

Teach

design verification & validation processes , including testing methods and compliance requirements.

Guide on

design control documentation

(DFMEA, risk analysis, technical drawings, BOMs).

Deliver sessions on

cost optimization strategies

in design and development.

Ensure training covers

compliance with industry standards

(ISO, ASME, IEC, FDA, automotive APQP, etc.).

Mentor trainees on

cross-industry design applications

in automotive, electrical, and medical device domains.

Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Update training content to align with the

latest technologies and industry practices .

Required Skills & Expertise :

Strong knowledge of

product design & development

methodologies.

Expertise in

CAD / CAE software

(AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, ANSYS, etc.).

Experience in

prototyping tools & technologies .

Proficiency in

design verification & validation

techniques.

Knowledge of

design control documentation and regulatory compliance .

Experience in

cost analysis & optimization

for product design.

Familiarity with

industry standards and guidelines

(ISO, ASME, FDA, IEC, automotive standards).

Ability to train professionals from

automotive, electrical, medical devices, and other industries .

Strong

presentation, mentoring, and communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in

Mechanical, Electrical, or Design Engineering .

Minimum

10+ years of experience

in product design and development.

Prior experience in

corporate training or technical education

is an advantage.
