Test Engineer - Remote

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products before release.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand features and technical implementation.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Perform regression, performance, and stress testing.
Maintain and improve test automation frameworks.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2+ years of experience in software testing or QA.

Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).

Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
