Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Payroll Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Payroll, HR, and Benefits modules. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, configuring applications, and providing technical and functional support to ensure seamless payroll and benefits operations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Payroll and Benefits modules.Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams to gather requirements and provide end-to-end solutions.Configure, test, and deploy Oracle EBS Payroll and Benefits functionalities, including fast formulas, elements, balance definitions, and benefit plans.Support payroll processing cycles, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.Develop functional and technical specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICE components).Design and troubleshoot Fast Formulas, Payroll Costing, Element Entries, and Benefit Calculations.Coordinate with developers for technical customizations, extensions, and BI Publisher reports.Manage interfaces with third-party benefit providers, banks, and other HR systems.Perform unit testing, UAT support, and production deployment.Provide day-to-day production support, troubleshoot errors, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory payroll / benefit requirements.Document configurations, functional setups, and provide end-user training.Required Skills & Experience
Technical + Functional expertise in Oracle EBS HRMS / Payroll and Benefits modules.Hands-on experience with Oracle Payroll processes : pre-payments, costing, retro pay, BEE, year-end processing.Strong knowledge of Benefits administration : plan setup, enrollment, life event processing, and reporting.Proficiency in Fast Formulas, Payroll Balance Adjustments, Element configuration, and Benefit plan design.Strong technical skills : SQL, PL / SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Workflow, and Interfaces.Knowledge of integrations with third-party benefit providers.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Certifications
Oracle certifications in Oracle EBS HRMS / Payroll / Benefits (preferred).Minimum Qualification :
15 years of full-time education
