Position : HR Generalist

Experience : 12 to 15 Years

Preferred Domain : Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned HR Generalist with 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience, preferably supporting engineering functions. The candidate will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of HR operations, driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals, and fostering a productive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for engineering and other business units including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.

Partner with hiring managers to understand skill requirements and business needs.

Manage onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement

Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns, promoting a positive work environment.

Handle conflict resolution and employee grievance processes promptly and fairly.

Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.

Performance Management

Facilitate performance appraisal cycles, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.

Support managers in setting performance expectations and developing improvement plans.

Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives.

Learning & Development

Coordinate training programs and career development activities to upskill employees.

Identify skills gaps and recommend relevant learning interventions.

Compensation & Benefits

Manage compensation review and benefits administration in line with company policies and market standards.

Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.

Compliance & Policy Management

Ensure full compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal HR policies.

Update HR policies and communicate changes effectively to all employees.

Conduct audits and maintain proper documentation for HR processes.

HR Operations & Reporting

Maintain and update employee records, HRIS systems, and generate management reports.

Support organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change management activities.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;

Engineering background preferred.

Proven experience (12–15 years) as HR Generalist, with exposure to engineering or technical teams.

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Proficient in HRIS and MS Office tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with integrity and confidentiality.
