The Planview ProjectPlace Senior Product Manager role is focused on providing market-leading customer-focused portfolio management solutions to our customers. The Senior Product Manager needs to combine a great instinct for developing compelling products with a strong focus on what users are trying to accomplish in their organization, the technical aptitude to work with engineering and customers, and the business sense to drive product and solution goals and strategies. Senior Product Managers at Planview serve as leaders who drive change and overall business success.

Product Management at Planview :

  • Exhibit sound business sense to drive product goals and strategies

  • Lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives from our strategic plan
  • Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, including development, customers, prospect-facing interactions during sales cycles, and key industry analysts

    • What You'll Do

    Planview ProjectPlace is a market leading collaborative work management solution that plays an essential role in Planview’s portfolio of products. As a Senior Product Manager of Planview ProjectPlace we need you to :

  • Develop product strategies and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive product and solution decisions
  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, diving into data, and competitive analysis.
  • Define and drive a product roadmap that balances innovation, competitive differentiation, and customer retention.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across product, development, sales, services, etc. in pursuit of improving business outcomes.
  • Possess an advanced understanding of product management and serve as a champion for best practices within the product management organization, including providing guidance and mentoring to other team members.
  • Execute at a fast pace with a focus on user experience, impact, and learning

    • What You'll Bring

    We are looking for someone who has :

  • Proven experience as a product manager working to bring solutions to customers across a large, diverse customer base, ideally in Enterprise software
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Keen ability to clearly and effectively explain functional capabilities and concepts in terms of business value
  • Proven ability to learn a new market and domain informing a multi-year strategic roadmap
  • Experience working with Agile oriented development teams, methodologies and tools
  • Looking to take the next step in your product management career with an interest in leadership

    • You might succeed within this role if you have :

  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions with imperfect information while understanding the trade-offs of those decisions
  • Experience with PMOs, product development / innovation, engineering and manufacturing, and / or scaling Agile implementations within an organization
  • Experience with project management, Agile, and / or collaborative work management
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • An ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced work environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • The ability to identify and summarize patterns and trends in user behavior or data analysis
