About the Role
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, performance testing, and modern QA tools, with a focus on delivering seamless user experiences across UI, API, and client-side performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, performance, and visual testing.
- Perform load and stress testing using Gatling to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system scalability.
- Implement UI functional automation using Playwright for end-to-end test coverage across browsers and platforms.
- Build robust API test suites using REST Assured, ensuring data integrity, security, and reliability of services.
- Conduct visual regression testing with Ashot to detect UI inconsistencies across releases.
- Leverage Lighthouse to analyze and optimize client-side performance metrics (e.g., page load, accessibility, SEO, best practices).
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate tests into CI / CD pipelines.
- Document test strategies, test cases, and maintain test execution reports.
- Drive quality best practices and mentor team members in adopting automation frameworks.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with :Neoload – Performance and load testing.Playwright – Web UI automation testing.REST Assured – API automation testing.Ashot – Visual regression testing.Lighthouse – Client-side performance testing.Proficiency in Java, JavaScript / TypeScript, or similar programming languages.Experience with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Nice to Have
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog).Exposure to security testing frameworks.
