About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Property & Energy Department at Tata AIG General Insurance.

The role involves underwriting and managing Fire & Engineering proposals, building strong relationships with channels, and ensuring effective risk assessment and pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review, analyze, and assess Fire & Engineering insurance proposals.
• Provide competitive quotes and underwrite proposals based on company guidelines.
• Bind and process converted proposals within stipulated timelines.
• Interact regularly with distribution channels for new business and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Contribute to portfolio growth through sound underwriting decisions.
