Customer Service responsibilities
In charge of organizing Customer Relations in SSA and abroad. This is both an operational and strategic role. You ensure that strategies and tools aimed at improving customer satisfaction with Kohler SSA products and services are implemented.
Planning - Product Availability
- Provide coordination and management of the Supply Planning process for designated region to include rough cut capacity planning, finished goods stocking positions, complete reconciliation of the unconstrained demand plan with internal and external capacities to develop a long term (12 months) supply plan monthly. Maximize product availability and service levels while implementing plans to minimize inventory and operating costs. Ensure the development and implementation of short-, medium- and long-term strategies to meet market needs. Adjust inventory, procurement, production and distribution, while targeting improved customer service and permanent cost reduction.
- Lead Order fulfilment team in ensuring timely sales every month by overseeing the dispatch plans like tracking vessel schedules, cut-offs etc.
- Manage demand planning with SSA customers / sales by collaborating with sales and marketing team. Managing supply planning team to share relevant POs to sources, track POs and SOs
- An understanding of the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model and its application. Working knowledge of push and pull systems, lean principles, and applicable manufacturing processes. Statistical tools in their application of demand and supply planning.
