About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Leadership Director to drive our technology roadmap, ensure team scalability and engineering excellence.
This role will be responsible for leading protocol design, smart contract development, backend scalability, DevSecOps, and architecting high-performance secure infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership : Own and evolve the technical architecture of stablecoin infrastructure including smart contracts cross-chain bridging custody solutions and API infrastructure.
- Team Building & Management : Recruit, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering team fostering collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence.
- Execution & Delivery : Lead planning, sprints, and development maintenance cycles to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, secure, and performant code.
- Security & Reliability : Champion best practices in secure coding, smart contract audits, and platform uptime ensuring fault-tolerant scalable systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product, compliance, business development, and operations aligning engineering with company objectives and regulatory standards.
- Innovation : Stay on the pulse of new technologies in the crypto ecosystem (L2s, ZK proofs, interoperability protocols etc.) and proactively introduce solutions keeping us ahead.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have :
Software Engineering Expertise : 6+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in Web3 or DeFi.Technical Proficiency : Proficient in Solidity + EVM experience (bonus : Rust, zk, or Cosmos SDK).Infrastructure Experience : Extensive experience of integration with DeFi platforms, staking liquidity pools, CDPs, yield aggregation.Understanding of Infrastructure : Strong understanding of infrastructure (AWS, Vercel, Microsoft Azure).Leadership Skills : Should have a Builder mindset i.e. ready to be hands-on solve challenging technical problems and know how to ship fast and iterate.Team Management : Have led small async-first globally distributed teams.Cultural Fit : Thrive in zero-to-one environments with high autonomy and ownership.Bonus Points
If you have :
Compliance / Regulatory Tech Experience : Experience with compliance / regulatory tech (KYC, AML, on-chain forensics).Open-Source Contributions : Contributions to open-source projects in Web3 space.Stablecoin Design Knowledge : Knowledge of stablecoin design models (collateralized, algorithmic, hybrid).Protocol Launch Experience : Bonus points if you have launched a protocol open-source repo or contributed to DAOs.Cultural Fit Criteria
