Category Manager– Lingerie & Nightwear

Location :

Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad

Salary :

₹5,0000-60000 per month

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement category-wise assortment plans to ensure an optimal product mix.

Coordinate with vendors for product selection, ordering, and timely deliveries.

Monitor stock levels, identify fast- and slow-moving items, and plan replenishments to maintain healthy inventory turnover.

Analyze sales trends and consumer behavior to optimize category performance and profitability.

Execute demand planning and forecasting to meet sales targets while minimizing excess inventory.

Prepare and maintain detailed MIS reports for sales, inventory, and overall category performance.

Manage auto purchase order (Auto Po) scheduling and monitor timely replenishments.

Collaborate with store teams to drive category-specific promotions and initiatives.

Identify assortment gaps and new opportunities within the lingerie and nightwear categories.

Requirements :

3–6 years of experience in retail category management, merchandising, or planning.

Background in apparel, fashion, or FMCG retail is preferred.

Strong Excel and data analysis skills for inventory and sales planning.

Experience with ERP / POS systems such as Ginesys is an added advantage.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
