Magento & D2C Tech Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Magento Tech Lead for our D2C program to join our dynamic team. As a Magento & D2C Tech Lead, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform, ensuring its efficiency, scalability, and overall success. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring our development team while driving innovation in our e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development of Magento-based e-commerce solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce concepts and practices to create seamless shopping experiences for our customers.
• Customize and extend Magento's core features and functionalities to meet specific business requirements and goals.
• Configure and customize the Magento platform to meet client-specific e-commerce needs, including product catalog setup, payment gateway integration, inventory management, and order fulfillment workflows
• Work on consolidation of multiple D2C tech solutions to target Majento D2C platform
• Create and modify front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React, Angular) to enhance user experiences.
• Develop and maintain Magento extensions, optimizing their performance and compatibility with the platform.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
• Ensure efficient e-commerce data organization and manage relationships between data entities.
• Expertly handle web services integrations, including REST and SOAP, to seamlessly connect our platform with external systems.
• Magento Certification and experience in ERP integrations with Magento are highly desirable.
• Implement caching and scaling techniques to enhance website performance and speed.
• Work on multi-store, multi-lingual, and multi-currency e-commerce implementations to cater to diverse customer needs.
• Experience with cloud hosting solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferable for optimizing scalability and reliability.
• Familiarity with Magento Commerce (on-prem / Cloud), BI Pro, and Order Management is an advantage.
