We're Hiring : Technology Specialist – NetApp Storage

Location : Bangalore

Job Type : Full-Time

Experience Level : 4+ Years (NetApp Storage)

Travel : Required within Bangalore (as needed)

We’re looking for a skilled NetApp Storage Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy building scalable storage systems that power modern enterprises — we’d love to meet you!

Your Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and upgrade NetApp AFF, FAS, and E-Series storage systems.
Implement NetApp ONTAP (Data ONTAP / SANtricity) in high-availability environments.
Integrate storage solutions using SAN / NAS protocols : iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS / SMB.
Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and clients to design tailored storage architectures.
Perform physical hardware installation (rack & stack), site audits, and system handovers.
Troubleshoot technical issues, escalate to NetApp Support when necessary.
Create comprehensive diagrams, configuration notes, and installation documentation.
Follow best practices and standards (NCIE / NCDA / NCSE) for NetApp deployments.
Apply data protection strategies including LUN provisioning, SnapMirror, and snapshots.
Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).

✅ What You Bring

4+ years of hands-on NetApp storage installation experience.

Proficiency in ONTAP CLI and System Manager.

Solid understanding of network infrastructure : Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Cisco, Brocade.

Experience with NetApp tools : Active IQ, AutoSupport, Unified Manager, Config Advisor.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willingness to travel to customer sites within Bangalore as required.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
