Lead process engineering activities for projects involving distillation columns, packed towers, liquid–liquid extraction systems, and other mass transfer equipment.Perform process simulations, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing using tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Pro / II, or equivalent.Prepare Basic Engineering Package (BEP) and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) deliverables, including heat and material balances (HMB), process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), process datasheets, utility balances, operating manuals, and process design basis documents.Develop specifications for process equipment such as columns, reboilers, condensers, decanters, separators, and pumps.Evaluate vendor technical offers, conduct technical bid analysis, and support procurement for process equipment.Review client specifications and ensure compliance with international codes / standards and project requirements.Provide technical support during detailed engineering, fabrication, and site erection / commissioning stages.Conduct troubleshooting and optimization studies for existing units and provide debottlenecking solutions.Interact with EPC consultants / clients (Bechtel, Technip, Toyo, Worley, L&T, Tata Projects, etc.) for process clarifications and design approvals.Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables.Skills Required
