Underwriting_US Mortage

'A Mortgage Underwriter here will determine the eligibility of loan applicants or authorize purchases through underwriters for lenders

You will be analysing and verifying loan applications, evaluating financial risks and making final decisions on eligibility

Ultimately, you will work with a team of financial experts to determine the qualifications of applicants to accept or decline different types of loans'

Roles and Responsibilities

• 'Problem solving ability by connecting the dots across the loan documentation
• Perform end to end risk analysis of a loan file
• Evaluate loan risk through verification of loan application
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of industry standards and guidelines
• Ability to interpret & action for any guideline changes
• Reviewing & responding to loan conditions as necessary
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management
• Meet daily targets & all SLAs as communicated
