Purpose of the Role :
The job entails developing / generating business for speciality chemical products by implementing / executing strategies for growth through the product lines of leading principals we represent to achieve the division’s targets.
- Responsible for meeting the top line volume and value targets for given / allotted regions for the financial year in line with Specialty Chemicals Business’s growth plan and strategy.
- Develop, plan and implement suitable sales strategies for new customer acquisition.
- Develop, plan and implement sales strategies for achieving maximum sales potential from the existing customers.
- Ensure regional expansion to increase reach and distribution in line with Specialty Chemicals Business strategy.
- Generate monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast and ensure its effective implementation.
- Develop new key accounts and ensure sustainable growth & profitability of these accounts as per the annual target.
- Carry out product gap analysis on an ongoing basis and provide input for the sourcing team to identify new principals.
- Develop proper market intelligence and carry out competitor analysis to identify and develop Ankush’s unique selling propositions and differentiators for our product basket.
- Carry out market mapping & potential analysis for all given regions.
- Ensure regular monitoring of collection to ensure no overdue as per the agreed norms.
- Coordinate with the customer services team / warehouse for all dispatch-related matters.
- Ensure 15-20 days of customer visits in a planned manner, covering all key customers in the given region.
- Participate in all sales review meetings as per plan.
- Actively participate in all trade shows / exhibitions to promote the Specialty Chemicals Business, generate new business leads, and track and monitor sales level progress.
Skills Set / Area of Expertise :
Hands on experience in CASE industry with exposure of handling products like defoamers, wetting & dispersing agents, preservatives, emulsion polymers, oligomers, photo initiators, Silanes, Surface modifiers & other specialty products.Possess good communication & strategic prospecting skills.Sound analytical & problem-solving skills, good negotiation skills & growth mindset.
