Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Growth Manager - Sales with 3-5 years of experience to build and lead our sales function from the ground up. Based in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for establishing our sales strategy, acquiring our first customers in the city, and creating a scalable playbook for expansion to other metros. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll wear multiple hats and directly shape the commercial success of Fast Party.
Location : Hyderabad (On-site)
Experience : 3-5 years in B2B / B2C sales, preferably in SaaS, consumer apps, or event tech
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for both B2C (individual event planners) and B2B (organizations) segments
Identify and prioritize high-value customer segments in Hyderabad : schools, colleges, religious organizations, clubs, corporate event teams, wedding planners, and influencers
Create segment-specific sales playbooks and pitch materials tailored to different customer personas
Build relationships with event management companies, venues, caterers, and other complementary service providers for partnerships
Own end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to conversion and onboarding
Growth & Market Development - Hyderabad Focus
Establish Fast Party as the go-to event platform in Hyderabad through strategic outreach and networking
Build a pipeline of anchor customers across key segments (target : 50+ organizations in Year 1)
Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops for potential customers
Experiment with different acquisition channels and optimize for CAC and conversion
Gather market feedback to inform product development and positioning
Create case studies and success stories from early adopters
Revenue & Metrics Optimization
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets for both individual users and organizational accounts
Develop pricing strategies and packages for different customer segments
Drive conversion from free users to paid plans through data-driven outreach and engagement
Focus on Event Groups adoption for organizations with recurring events
Track, analyze, and optimize key growth metrics : CAC, LTV, conversion rates, average deal size, payback period, churn rate
Build dashboards and reports to monitor sales funnel health and performance
Customer Success & Retention
Ensure smooth onboarding and activation of new customers
Build strong relationships with early customers to drive retention and referrals
Collect testimonials and create reference cases for future sales
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
Work with product team to improve user experience based on customer feedback
Process Building & Documentation
Document sales processes, best practices, and learnings for future team scaling
Create sales collateral, templates, pitch decks, and tools for scalability
Build repeatable frameworks for market entry that can be replicated in other cities
As budget allows, recruit and train junior sales team members
Required Qualifications
Experience & Skills
3-5 years of sales / growth experience in B2B SaaS, consumer apps, event tech, or related industries
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in early-stage or growth environments
Experience selling to diverse customer segments (both transactional B2C and consultative B2B)
Strong understanding of growth frameworks, funnels, and conversion optimization
Demonstrated ability to build from scratch - comfortable with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Telugu / Hindi
Strong relationship-building abilities with stakeholders at all levels
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho), analytics, and Excel / Google Sheets
Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
Experience in event planning, hospitality, community platforms, or membership organizations
Understanding of the Hyderabad market landscape and business culture
Existing network in education, religious institutions, or community organizations
Familiarity with AI-powered products and ability to articulate AI value propositions
Experience with PLG (Product-Led Growth) strategies and freemium models
