We are looking for a staff-level full stack software engineer to join us and help build rich web experiences that delight our customers and empower our financial planning teams to do their best work. As a Senior member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development and observability of the team’s work. Our Staff Engineers wear a lot of hats - including hands-on coding, mentoring developers, influencing our product vision, and designing our system architecture. We have high standards for code quality, all forms of testing, and intelligent architecture.

Responsibilities :

• Providing technical leadership and hands-on development for our single page applications used by our clients and our financial planners in Typescript and React as well as our backend services in Java
• Designing and developing the infrastructure as code for lambda functions, their associated data stores and any required connected services using AWS CloudFormation
• Leading epics from idea to implementation including work estimation, collaboration with our product team, development, testing, code review and deployment
• Coaching and mentoring engineers on the squad through code reviews, pair programming, interactive design sessions and team retrospectives
• Interviewing and recruiting engineers to strengthen the team
