The Content Writer Executive will be a core member of the marketing team, responsible for creating high-quality, high-impact content that drives organic traffic and establishes RegisterKaro as a thought leader in the business, finance, legal, and compliance space. This role demands not just strong writing, but a deep understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to simplify complex regulatory information into clear, actionable content for entrepreneurs and SMEs.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Subject Matter Expertise
- Create and Execute well-researched, accurate, and engaging long-form content, including blogs, detailed articles, guides, and pillar pages primarily focused on business registration, taxation (GST, Income Tax), legal compliance, and startup growth.
- Simplify Complex Topics : Translate intricate legal and financial jargon into clear, professional, and easy-to-understand language without compromising accuracy.
- Develop High-Converting Copy for short-form assets, including website landing pages, email marketing campaigns, and concise social media content.
- Conduct Expert Interviews : Collaborate with internal CAs, CSs, and legal experts to capture raw knowledge and transform it into authoritative content.
SEO & Content Strategy
Advanced SEO Implementation : Strategically conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping to inform content strategy.Optimize and Refresh : Take ownership of on-page SEO optimization for both new and existing content, including meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content structure, to improve search rankings and user experience (UX).Content Gap Analysis : Proactively identify topics and content formats that RegisterKaro is currently missing to capture new organic traffic opportunities.Editing & Collaboration
Quality Assurance : Execute rigorous self-editing and proofreading to ensure all published material is grammatically flawless, plagiarism-free, and adheres to legal / compliance standards.Maintain Brand Voice : Ensure absolute consistency in the brand's professional, yet approachable, voice and tone across all communication channels.Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate seamlessly with the SEO, Design, and Marketing teams to align content with campaign goals and visual requirements.Required Skills & Qualifications
Professional Experience & Education
Experience : 1.5 to 2 + years of proven, hands-on experience in content writing, preferably within a corporate, B2B, or agency setting.Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as : Journalism, English, Mass Communication, Finance, Chartered Accountancy (CA), or Taxation.Portfolio : A strong portfolio demonstrating published work on complex, industry-specific topics (finance, legal, tax, etc.) is mandatory.Technical & Functional Skills
SEO Proficiency (Non-Negotiable) : Strong working knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and proven experience in using data to inform content decisions.Writing Mastery : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a high standard of editorial quality.Research Acumen : Superior research skills, with the ability to vet and cite credible sources for high-stakes, fact-driven content.Tool Familiarity : Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress is highly preferred.Personal Attributes
