Lead Data Engineer Position

The role of a Lead Data Engineer involves overseeing the development and implementation of data infrastructure on Databricks. This entails participating in technology selection, designing and building components, and collaborating with software developers, database architects, and data analysts on business initiatives.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and improving processes & automation of Data infrastructure, tuning data pipelines for reliability & performance, and performing scalability, latency, and availability tests.

To be successful in this position, one should have a B.Tech / BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or other Engineering disciplines, and a minimum of 5 years of Professional work experience as a data engineer.

A highly proficient individual with knowledge of Distributed computing and cloud databases like Redshift, Big query etc., and experience with Modern Data stack tools like Airflow, Terraform, dbt, Glue, Dataproc etc.
