The Department of Computer Science Engineering at GITAM invites passionate and dynamic faculty to join our Bengaluru Campus. We are seeking bright young minds with a commitment to teaching excellence and impactful research.

Theoretical Computer Science – Algorithms, Complexity, Graph Theory, Formal Methods
Systems & Architectures – Networks, Operating Systems, Architectures, Distributed Systems (Cloud Computing, Blockchain)
Cyber Security & Cyber Physical Systems – IoT, Sensor Networks, Edge Computing
Data Structures & Databases

Role Expectations

Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses with innovative pedagogies.

Conduct independent, high-quality research leading to publications in Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals.

Supervise graduate research projects and mentor students.

Collaborate on interdisciplinary research and secure external funding.

Contribute actively to academic governance, outreach, and industry partnerships.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering (with First Class or equivalent at UG & PG levels).

Strong academic record with evidence of teaching / research experience.

Publications in peer-reviewed / UGC-listed journals.

Experience at Assistant Professor level (or equivalent) desirable.
