ESG Strategy & Implementation :

  • Assist in developing and executing the companys ESG strategy aligned with global standards and corporate goals.
  • Lead projects and initiatives related to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG principles into business operations and decision-making processes.

Regulatory Compliance & Reporting :

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting in accordance with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and UN SDGs.
  • Prepare and present ESG reports to internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and rating agencies.

    • Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, customers, investors, and community organizations to promote ESG initiatives.
  • Manage ESG-related communications, training, and awareness programs to build a culture of sustainability.

    • Risk Management & Due Diligence :

  • Identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities across the organization.
  • Support risk mitigation strategies and due diligence processes, especially related to supply chain, environmental impact, and social Measurement & Continuous Improvement :
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure ESG performance and progress.
  • Conduct benchmarking against industry standards and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in sustainability practices.

    • Leadership & Team Management :

  • Support and mentor ESG team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership to embed ESG priorities into corporate strategy and culture.

    • Qualifications and Competencies :

  • Masters degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in ESG, CSR, or sustainability roles, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to integrate ESG into core business planning.
  • Skilled in interpreting ESG data and metrics to assess impact, track progress, and inform decision-making, strong knowledge of ESG frameworks.
  • Able to clearly articulate ESG goals and achievements to internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external partners.
  • Proactively identifies challenges and opportunities in sustainability, developing creative solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Committed to transparency, ethical business practices, and responsible governance.
  • Skilled at engaging with diverse groups - from suppliers and employees to investors and regulatory bodies to build ESG buy-in.
