Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced cloud infrastructure professional to join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
About the Role
The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for :
- Deploying, configuring, and managing OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining Ceph storage clusters for high availability and optimal performance.
- Managing block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW / S3, Swift, or equivalent).
- Maintaining and optimizing OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Managing and troubleshooting containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Integrating OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.
- Participating in CI / CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have :
A minimum of 7–10 years of hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and / or OpenShift administration.Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent).Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu).Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments (VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing).Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.RHCE certified.Good-to-Have Skills
The following skills are beneficial :
Experience with monitoring and observability tools : Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.Understanding of cloud security best practices.Education
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.
