Job Title : Azure / AWS Data MDM Architect

Location - PAN India

Years of Experience - 10-16 years

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Data MDM Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based Master Data Management (MDM) solutions across Azure and AWS ecosystems (experience with GCP is a plus). The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern MDM tools such as Reltio and Profisee, and will have a strong background in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise data platforms. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data governance teams, and technology partners to create unified, trusted, and analytics-ready data assets.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Architect and lead end-to-end MDM implementations leveraging tools such as Reltio, Profisee, or similar.

Define and implement cloud-native MDM architectures on AWS and Azure, including data modeling, data stewardship, and governance frameworks.

Evaluate existing data ecosystems, identify gaps, and design modernization strategies for master data domains (customer, product, vendor, etc.).

Establish data integration patterns using APIs, event-driven architectures, and streaming platforms like Kafka / Kinesis.

Data Platform Engineering

Design and provision modern data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, and data hubs) using cloud services such as AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR and Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory.

Ensure data quality, lineage, and metadata management across MDM and analytical platforms.

Implement scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch processing.

Governance & Security

Collaborate with business units to define data governance policies, standards, and stewardship processes.

Enforce data privacy, security, and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Develop monitoring and alerting strategies for MDM and cloud data workloads.

Leadership & Collaboration

Provide technical leadership and mentor data engineers and solution architects.

Partner with enterprise architects, application developers, and business leaders to ensure adoption and continuous improvement of MDM practices.

Act as a trusted advisor on multi-cloud strategies, performance optimization, and cost management.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience implementing Master Data Management solutions using Reltio and / or Profisee.

Strong expertise in cloud-based MDM architectures across AWS and Azure (knowledge of GCP is advantageous).

In-depth understanding of modern data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics environments).

Proficiency with ETL / ELT tools, data integration techniques, and API-driven data services.

Solid grasp of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality best practices.

Strong knowledge of data modeling (relational and dimensional) and database technologies (SQL / NoSQL).

Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer / Architect, or Google Professional Data Engineer.

Experience with data catalog tools (Collibra, Alation) and real-time streaming solutions.

Background in industries such as financial services, healthcare, or retail is a plus.
