Key Responsibilities :

Lead electrical engineer (design engineering) for Power projects (coal / simple cycle / combined cycle / cogeneration), hydrogen projects.

What are the main responsibilities for this individual (i.e., reasons we need this person)?

• To work as lead electrical engineer for Power projects (coal / simple cycle / combined cycle / cogeneration), hydrogen project.
• Shall carry out electrical System engineering activities such as equipment sizing calculations, preparation of equipment specifications for procurement, technical bid evaluation process;
• Shall carry out physical engineering activities such layout – Cable tray, earthing, lightning, lighting, cable schedules, ICS;
• Review & performing basic system studies such as LF, SC, relay co-ordination & settings (knowledge of ETAP will be an added advantage)
• Vendor print review, FATs of major electrical equipment, etc.
• Facilitate co-ordination of design activities across various departments
• Conduct and participate in design reviews, collaborate closely with clients
• Shall be carrying out planning of engineering deliverables
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members

Key Skills Required :

1)Experience in design of Electrical systems of Thermal powerplants

2) Well versed in relevant Indian & International standards

3)Strong computer skills – proficient in MS office

4)Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication

5)Ability to travel and willingness for deputation will be an added advantage.
