Marsh India Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mumbai office :

Senior Relationship Manager / Assistant Vice President - TP Facultative Reinsurance Team

We will count on you to :

  • Responsible to handle reinsurance placement for Energy, Construction and Property risks in India and all lines in neighbouring nations.
  • Reinsurer & Cedant management (India / neighbouring nations) to deliver best results for clients.
  • Develop new business and retain existing ones to achieve expected profitable growth.
  • Proactive participation with internal service providers to maximise client service
  • Visit cedants & reinsurers for Indian / neighbouring nation risks regularly to ensure continuous engagement, enhance relationships and develop new business.
  • Proficiency on placement activities, endorsement processing, claims advocacy and overall account servicing.

What you need to have :

  • Technical knowledge on energy risks, large property risks, civil and engineering construction projects and associated risks.
  • Should be able to analyze Mega Risk, offshore (energy package policy), CAR & EAR (offshore & onshore) proposal and query resolution
  • Should have good understanding of treaties and reinsurance aspects
  • Good communication and analysis skills
  • Necessary to have good MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
  • Essential - Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance industry, with weightage to be given to technical understanding of large risks & construction insurance policies
  • Good to have - Experience of working with infrastructure / energy companies.
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures i.e. Indian Corporate, MNC Corporation and PSU clients.
