Role Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping operations for multiple international clients.
- Review and ensure accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions.
- Lead a team of accountants and bookkeepers; provide training, guidance, and performance reviews.
- Ensure timely closing of books (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulations.
- Liaise with clients to understand needs and resolve queries promptly.
- Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable / receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
- Generate and review financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, etc.
- Coordinate with tax teams for year-end audit and compliance work.
- Continuously optimize bookkeeping processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Use and administer accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.Minimum 7+ of experience in bookkeeping / accounting, with 3-5 years in a managerial capacity .Proven experience handling international accounting / bookkeeping operations.Familiarity with US accounting practices is highly desirable.Expertise in accounting software (QuickBooks Online / Desktop, Xero, Sage, etc.).Strong knowledge of Excel and other reporting tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and client engagements simultaneously.Desirable Traits :
