Who We're Looking For
We’re seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering and customer impact. You enjoy working closely with customers, rapidly building demos, solving problems on the fly, and contributing to critical product features.
You are someone who :
- Loves working directly with customers and has strong communication skills.
- Can quickly build proof-of-concepts and iterate based on real-world feedback.
- Is comfortable diving into codebases, debugging issues, and deploying solutions under tight timelines.
- Has a "do whatever it takes" mindset to ensure customers are successful.
- Enjoys wearing multiple hats—support, solutioning, coding, and presenting.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical bridge between customers and our engineering team.Build and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concepts tailored to customer needs.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for live customer environments.Contribute to key feature development in our Voice AI platform (Python, APIs, integrations).Work closely with sales and product teams to gather requirements and provide feedback for roadmap prioritization.Present technical solutions and product capabilities to customer stakeholders.Document best practices and build reusable templates for faster future deployments.Mandatory Qualifications
2+ years of software development experience (Python or Node.js preferred).Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and web technologies.Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and deploying services.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet with customers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly Desired Skills
Experience with Twilio, Exotel, or other telephony / communication platforms.Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / React Native) for rapid prototyping.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI / CD pipelines.Familiarity with conversational AI systems (LLMs, ASR, TTS) or chatbot platforms.Previous experience in a customer-facing or solutions engineering role.Why OmniDimension?
