About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Operations Manager to support and manage the end-to-end execution of the National Road Safety Mission for Kids & Youth (NRSM) — India’s largest structured road safety education program for students from Classes 1 to 12.
The ideal candidate should be efficient in coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing timelines, ensuring smooth execution of program activities, and maintaining high operational standards. This is a high-impact role contributing directly to the safety education of millions of children across India.
Key Responsibilities
Program Operations & Execution
- Manage day-to-day operations of the NRSM program across multiple states.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of schools, teachers, and students on the NRSM digital learning platform.
- Coordinate with internal teams (curriculum, tech, content, design, support) to ensure timely execution of tasks and deliverables.
- Monitor program timelines, track progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee student registrations, school engagement, and digital learning participation.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with government departments, school administrators, and partner organizations for program rollout.Act as a single point of contact for operational communication with external stakeholders.Maintain strong relationships with support teams and ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities.Data Management & Reporting
Track program analytics including enrollments, completion rates, assessments, and engagement.Prepare weekly / monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.Highlight risks, delays, or process gaps and suggest corrective actions proactively.Process & Quality Control
Ensure operational processes are being followed and optimized.Identify areas of inefficiency and support the creation of SOPs and improved workflows.Work closely with the content and curriculum teams to ensure timely review cycles and error-free content deployment.Team Coordination
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.Assign tasks, follow up on deliverables, and monitor accountability.Support training, onboarding, and management of part-time or project-based staff during peak cycles.Customer (School / Student / Parent) Experience
Coordinate with the support team to ensure timely resolution of school or student queries.Monitor recurring issues and work with internal teams to resolve root causes.Ensure communication with stakeholders is clear, professional, and timely.Requirements
Must Have
2–5 years of experience in operations, program management, edtech operations, NGO / social impact projects, or government project execution .Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work under pressure.Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.Good to Have
Experience working with schools, government departments, or CSR-funded projects.Prior experience in EdTech or public education programs.Understanding of dashboard tools, CRM, LMS, or program monitoring systems.Key Competencies
