Job description

We are looking to hire a seasoned and strategic IT leader for the position of Senior Manager / Head - IT.

Position : Senior Manager / Head - IT Infrastructure

Location : Pune / Mohali

Headcount Size : Approx. 1000+ users supported

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT Operations, Infrastructure, Network, Helpdesk, and Compliance. This is a critical leadership role, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on expertise to ensure smooth IT operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage IT Operations, Network, and Helpdesk teams.
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and efficiency across all IT operations.
  • Implement and maintain IT security protocols as defined by the InfoSec team.
  • Manage the IT Helpdesk for timely and effective resolution of user issues.
  • Define and enforce IT policies and compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Stay updated with emerging IT trends and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Manage IT budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Provide leadership with regular reports on IT operations, metrics, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments for seamless tech integration.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT (Master's preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in senior IT roles, preferably in organizations with 1000+ users.
  • Strong track record in IT strategy, operations management, and compliance.
  • Hands-on expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, network security, and IT service management.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring IT teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
