Senior Product Security Engineer

FactSet is currently seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer, experienced in development, application security testing, and architecture, to join the global Security team. The ideal candidate will have a background in application development. You will work with talented individuals in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Product Development to securely design, develop, test, and deploy products. Many Product Security Engineer duties involve direct communication with internal clients and stakeholders and our customers as well, thus good communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

This position will report directly to the Product and Application Security Director.

Job Responsibilities :

• Identify potential risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits in applications through threat modeling, secure code review, and penetration testing
• Define information security policies and standards that support secure coding practices
• Support and ongoing development of existing in-house created technologies and solutions used by the security team.
• Support the automation of security testing and more efficient discovery, tracking, and resolution of security vulnerabilities
• Educate employees on secure coding guidelines and development best practices
