About the Job :

This position is a Lead Cyber Security, responsible for designing advanced scripting and automation around current processes for onboarding and operationalizing applications and databases to the Splunk based environment, as part of Application Security Logging and Alarming (ASLA) and Database Security Logging and Alarming (DSLA) platform, in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.

Experience Level :   12+ years

Location : Hyderabad or Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities :

Responsible for designing advanced scripting and automation around current processes for onboarding and operationalizing applications and databases to the Splunk based environment

Leads the automation team with advanced knowledge and expertise in Cloud and / or UNIX based tools and scripting

Delivers expert best practices in adoption, expansion, additional use cases and in managing the Splunk environment

Troubleshoots in all the phases of onboarding as needed

Primary / Mandatory skills :

Overall – 12+ years of IT experience

8+ years of application and platform architecture experience.

6+ years of UNIX / Linux / Cloud Scripting experience

Demonstrate Intermediate to Advance Scripting Skillset

Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

Proven track record of Problem-solving Skillset.

Expertise in building automation around current processes

Splunk Application patching; Upgrades planning and execution,

Ability in Runbook development.

Capacity management; Application health monitoring

General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and / or Gold)

Demonstrate Analytical Thinking,

Expertise in Core Application Systems

BS of Computer Science and / or Information Systems

Technical Skills : UNIX shell scripting, Splunk maintenance, Application and Database Lifecycle.

Additional information (if any) :  Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours upon need.

Certification : CISSP or equivalent
