Job Title : Senior Informatica Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Informatica Developer with strong expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC). The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience in data governance, metadata management, data quality, and integration across diverse platforms and tools. This role requires strong technical knowledge along with the ability to design, implement, and optimize data governance processes to ensure data reliability, accessibility, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and management of Informatica CDGC solutions, including catalog setup and governance framework.
Establish and maintain connections between Informatica Catalog and multiple platforms such as SAP HANA, Tableau, Power BI, Python / Informatica ETL, Databricks, and Databricks Unity Catalog.
Design and implement business glossaries, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Define, configure, and monitor data quality rules, applying them across enterprise datasets to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
Utilize Informatica tagging features to manage metadata, data classification, and lineage tracking for effective governance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and BI / ETL teams to translate business requirements into scalable governance and catalog solutions.
Provide expertise on best practices for data governance processes, catalog adoption, and metadata-driven insights.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to catalog integration, metadata harvesting, and rule execution.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 10 years of overall experience in Data Engineering / ETL / Data Governance, with at least 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in Informatica CDGC.

Proven expertise in data governance processes, metadata management, and data quality implementations.

Experience in connecting and managing metadata from SAP HANA, Tableau, Power BI, Python-based ETL processes, Databricks, and Unity Catalog.

Strong working knowledge of business glossary design, taxonomy structures, and governance workflows.

Deep understanding of data quality frameworks, tagging mechanisms, and data lineage in Informatica.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Exposure to enterprise-scale environments with large, complex datasets.
