Advanced Process Control (APC) Resident Engineer

This position is for APC resident engineer with minimum 10 years of relevant experience. The requirement is specifically for Honeywell APC (RMPCT now known as HW Forge APC), the candidate must have hands-on experience in implementing 2-3 APC projects.

Work Location : Yanbu, KSA

Hands-on expertise in Honeywell Forge APC (formerly Honeywell Profit Suite), including configuration, tuning, commissioning, and lifecycle support of RMPCT (Robust Model Predictive Control Technology).

Deep understanding of Advanced Process Control (APC), Real-Time Optimization (RTO), Performance Monitoring, and First Principles Modeling.

Proven experience in design, deployment, and support of production accounting solutions and integrated planning & scheduling systems.

Knowledge of value chain optimization across refining and petrochemical operations, with experience in margin improvement through APC and RTO integration.

Familiarity with process modeling tools such as :

Aspen GDOT, KBC Petro-SIM, Technip SPYRO, AVEVAl ROMeo is a plus.

" Proficient in a range of APC platforms including :

Honeywell RMPCT, Aspen DMCplus, Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa SMOC, AVEVA APC

" Working knowledge of automation-IT integration, including OPC and industrial data protocols.

" Proficient in installation, configuration, and licensing of COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf Software) in secure industrial environments.

" Capable of performing root cause analysis (RCA) using plant-wide historian data and APC dashboards.

" Familiar with cybersecurity requirements for industrial software environments and site installations.

" Conversant with standard industrial communication protocols such as OPC (DA, UA), ODBC, OLEDB, API-based integration.
