JD Edwards Security Specialist

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and implement the security framework for JD Edwards applications, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

To achieve this goal, the successful candidate will work closely with global business stakeholders to understand their security requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their needs.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management : Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to gather insights into business processes and security needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the organization's requirements.
• Security Framework Design : Utilize expertise in Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Allout Security toolset to create standardized user roles and access templates, minimizing redundancy and ensuring seamless functionality.
• Workflows and Provisioning : Implement efficient onboarding, offboarding, and provisioning workflows, maintaining consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all operations.
• Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Compliance : Establish and monitor SoD controls to prevent conflicts of interest and unauthorized activities, partnering with audit and compliance teams to review role combinations and mitigate risks.
• Access Controls and Identity Management : Enforce fine-grained access controls for JD Edwards applications, data objects, reports, and transactions based on user roles, applying Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles to ensure secure and streamlined user authentication and role assignments.
