Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Platform Engineering Observability team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, as well as managing self-hosted and on-premises assets.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
• Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
• Administer company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI / CD pipelines and support application deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.
