Emerson - Senior Build & Installer Developer

Job Description :

National Instruments / Emerson India is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Build & Installer Developer to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of build and installer packages for NI products across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.

You will play a key part in the product release process, ensuring efficient and reliable.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

• Design and develop installer packages using both internal and third-party tools. (WIX).
• Collaborate closely with collaborators across teams to meet build, installer and release requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for build and installer initiatives within NI product lines.
• Mentor junior team members and provide ongoing technical guidance.
• Maintain and enhance the build and test infrastructure for NI products.
• Contribute to internal build tools and open-source projects as needed.
• Find opportunities for automation and implement appropriate You Are :

For This Role, You Will Need :

1. Operating systems : Windows, Linux, macOS.

2. Build and automation tools : Azure DevOps, Git, GNU Make.

3. Scripting and development : Python.

4. Package management systems (especially for Linux).
