About the Team :

Position Summary

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven General Manager - Engineering Delivery , to lead our high-performance digital engineering projects. This strategic leadership role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of core product roadmap, encompassing large-scale bespoke development, system re-engineering, and complex customization projects for our marquee US and UK-based customers. The ideal candidate will be a high-impact leader who can scale our delivery capabilities, drive technical innovation (especially in areas like LLMs and AI guardrails), and manage a large engineering force while maintaining good customer relationship and high satisfaction.

Key Requirements : We are specifically targeting a candidate with the following exceptional profile.

1) Experience : Dynamic Leader with over 18 years of progressive, deep technical experience.

2) Education : Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering from a Tier I or Tier II institute.

3) Team Size : Proven experience in leading and mentoring an engineering team of 100 to 300 technical professionals.

4) Domain Expertise : Conversant with the current environment on LLMs / AI and related guardrails, with experience in practical application or strategic direction.

5) Delivery Background : Extensive, hands-on experience in bespoke product development, system re-engineering, and large-scale customization projects.

6) Past Roles : Prior career progression including Architect and / or Program Manager roles is highly desirable.

7) Global Exposure : International work experience is desirable, showcasing an ability to manage global teams or complex cross-border deliveries.

8) Joining Notice : Ability to join within 60 days (or sooner) is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Delivery Leadership : Define and own the engineering delivery strategy and roadmap, translating business objectives into executable technical programs and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards for our customers.
  • Technical Modernization & AI Integration : Champion the re-engineering of legacy systems and drive the adoption of new technologies, specifically guiding the engineering teams in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) while implementing robust AI ethics and guardrails .
  • People & Organizational Management : Direct and mentor a team of 100-300+ engineers , managers, and architects. Establish a culture of ownership, operational excellence, and continuous skill development.
  • Process Optimization : Implement, refine, and enforce best-in-class SDLC and DevOps processes to maximize engineering velocity and productivity across all project types (bespoke, re-engineering, customization).
  • Program Oversight : Apply strong program management discipline to oversee multiple complex, concurrent initiatives, managing critical dependencies, risks, and executive-level stakeholder communications
