• Lead and manage a team of software engineers in the mainframe space, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mainframe applications, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to gather requirements, analyze system designs, and propose technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Review code for quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or bottlenecks, working closely with team members to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional designs.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of mainframe applications.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation, ensuring that projects are appropriately staffed and managed for optimal efficiency.
