Role Overview
This role will support the upstream marketing team in analyzing market trends, identifying customer needs, and assisting in the development of product strategies and business cases. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to help define the right products and solutions that meet market demands and align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Insights Support
- Assist in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and provide insights to the team.
Product Strategy & Planning
Support the preparation of product requirement documents (PRDs) and business cases.Assist in defining product positioning, value propositions, and preliminary pricing strategies.Help in portfolio tracking and early-stage lifecycle management activities.Cross-functional Collaboration
Coordinate with R&D, Sales, and Operations teams to gather inputs for product development.Provide support in project documentation, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.Liaise with downstream marketing to ensure smooth transition from concept to commercialization.Execution & Reporting
Maintain dashboards and reports on market opportunities, competitor activities, and KPIs.Assist in preparing presentations for management reviews and strategy discussions.Support financial modeling and ROI analysis for new product ideas.Qualifications
MBA with 1–3 years of experience in marketing, business analysis, product management, or related roles.Strong analytical and research skills with proficiency in MS Excel / PowerPoint (knowledge of data tools is a plus).Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within timelines.Good communication and presentation skills.
